No new local transmissions of coronavirus in China since two days

For the second consecutive day, China hasn’t reported any new local COVID-19 transmissions.
Hubei, the epicentre of the virus, opened its borders on Wednesday. Public transport continued and residents came out onto the streets with masks on.
The lockdown in Wuhan provincial capital is set to be lifted by April 8. COVID-19 had first broke out in December and had evolved signficantly after a lockdown was enforced.
The number of cases imported into Beijing, on the other hand, increased. According to Reuters, China’s National Health Commission said on Wednesday 67 news cases were reported, all imported.
All the newest patients had traveled to China from overseas.
As of Thursday a total number of 81.285 cases were reported across the country. China is recovering its economy and has turned its focus to a decline in imported cases.
