PESHAWAR: No medical staff has been provided yet at the District Headquarters (DHQ) Kohistan which was built for Rs410 million.

The structure of the hospital building was erected when Leader of Opposition in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Akram Khan Durrani was chief minister of the province.

Residents of the area have to face trouble in case of emergency and for treatment of complex issues. They are forced to take their patients to Abbottabad (more than 260 km away) for medical assistance.

The citizens have requested from the KP government to appoint medical staff for the health facility.
