No Mask No Tourism Policy To Be Adopted on Asad Umar’s Direction

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning Asad Omar has said that the preparation of SOPs for the tourism sector is essential to curb the spread of the coronavirus, adding that a no-mask no-tourism policy should be adopted.
According to details, a meeting of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar.
The meeting also discussed issues related to rehabilitation of the tourism sector with SOPs.
Asad Omar said that violations of Corona SOPs are being reported in tourist places which is unfortunate, not following SOPs in tourist places can spread Coronavirus.
The meeting directed the officials of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan to prepare tourist guidelines. Asad Umar said that the preparation of SOPs for the tourism sector was essential to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
He said that tourist destinations of Azad Kashmir, Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan are very important.
