No-confidence Motion: Today the last day of constitutional term for convening NA session

Today is the last day of the constitutional term for convening a session of the National Assembly on a No-Confidence motion.

On the issue of No-Confidence motion, the government has decided to convene a meeting of the National Assembly on March 25. The session will also be adjourned on March 25 after prayers for forgiveness for the late MNA.

Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has already said that he should call a meeting and adjourn it as long as he wants.

The opposition has decided to take legal action by declaring the government’s move unconstitutional.

A meeting of the opposition was held in this regard in which Ayaz Sadiq, Farooq Naik, Sherry Rehman, Zahid Hamid and Senator Kamran Murtaza also participated.
