No-Confidence Motion: NA session to commence today under chairmanship of Asad Qaisar

ISLAMABAD: The crucial session of the National Assembly will begin today at 11 am under the chairmanship of Speaker Asad Qaiser.

A 15-point agenda of the meeting chaired by National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser has also been released, which includes a No-Confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.

High security arrangements have been made for the National Assembly session and the sensitive area has been completely sealed off by enforcing section 144 in the red zone.

Islamabad Police, Rangers and FC personnel have been deployed at various places. No irrational person will be allowed to enter the red zone. However, employees going to the red zone can show their office card.

Guidelines have also been issued to MNAs for the National Assembly session stating that guests will be barred from entering the National Assembly session. Bringing along with MNAS, ministerial security guards and personal staff will also be prohibited.

The directive states that MNAs will be required to park their vehicles in designated parking lots, and shuttle service will be started for MNAs from Parliament Lodges to Parliament House.

The Federal Capital Territory Traffic Police said that entry and exit to the red zone is allowed only from Margalla Road. Serena Chowk, Nadra Chowk, Express Chowk and Ayub Chowk will remain closed for entry and exit in the red zone.
