“No case of corruption proved against me,” PM Shahbaz says in court

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Hamza Shahbaz appeared before special court in Lahore on Saturday for the hearing of money laundering case through Sugar Mills.
While speaking on rostrum, PM Shahbaz said, “Several cases have been made against me and have been appeared before court several times because of them but no case of corruption has been proved against me yet.”
During the hearing of the money laundering case in the court, Shahbaz Sharif said in his statement that my lawyer has given arguments regarding my bail, I also have the right to present my defense regarding my bail.
While speaking on rostrum, PM Shahbaz said, “Several cases have been made against me and have been appeared before court several times because of them but no case of corruption has been proved against me yet.”
“I was accused of trespassing in Ashiana Iqbal. When I was in NAB’s penitentiary, two FIA teams came to me and interrogated me, but I said, I would not respond without consulting a lawyer,” he said.
Shahbaz Sharif said that honor is the characteristic of a human being. Allah has given me the responsibility of the Prime Minister two months ago. I pray to Allah to fulfill this responsibility in a good manner.
“I was not challaned for a year to be arrested, I have nothing to do with any sugar mills, I am not a shareholder in the Ramzan sugar mill,” he said.
