Nine shot dead in Rawalpindi firing incident

RAWALPINDI: Nine people including women and children were shot dead by unknown assailants at Chauntra area in Rawalpindi on Friday night.

Spokesperson Rawalpindi Police Sajid said that five women and four minor children were killed by the attackers and three more children were seriously wounded, Radio Pakistan reported.

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has strongly denounced the incident and sought report from Central Police Office Rawalpindi.
