 Next phase of countrywide covid-19 vaccine to begin tomorrow

The next phase of Covid-19 vaccination will commence from 10th March (tomorrow) in Pakistan.

The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Health Dr Faisal Sultan made the announcement on Twitter and said that the drive be “Beginning with the senior most citizens, who will receive SMS with instructions on their cell phones.”

Earlier, on Sunday, Planning and Development Minister Asad Umar had announced that the vaccination will be restricted for the people aged 60 years and above which will start from Wednesday.

Asad Umer said, “Vaccinations will be done in reverse order by age, which means the oldest person who has registered will be vaccinated first.”
