Newly-elect CM Punjab, Hamza Shahbaz will be sworn in today

The newly elected Chief Minister of Punjab Hamza Shahbaz will be sworn in today following the decision of the Lahore High Court.
Yesterday, the Lahore High Court had given a brief verdict in the swearing in case of newly elected Chief Minister of Punjab Hamza Shahbaz.
Justice Amir Bhatti in his short judgment had said that there was no government in the province for 25 days, delay in taking oath was unconstitutional. Until tomorrow, the Governor of Punjab should take oath from the Chief Minister of Punjab himself or through a representative.
During the hearing of the case, the court in its remarks had said that it is the constitutional responsibility of the President of Pakistan to facilitate the swearing in of the Prime Minister or Chief Minister. There is no room for delay in taking oath.
