New Zealand defeated Pakistan in second Test as Kiwi bowler Kyle Jamieson took his record 11 wickets in the match. New Zealand won the match by an innings and 176 runs claiming the series by 2-0.
The victory made New Zealand world’s top-ranked team in the Test format. Kyle Jamieson bagged five wickets in Pakistan’s first innings followed by six wicket in second innings making his career’s best performance of total 11 wickets.
In the second Test match against New Zealand, Pakistan scored 297 runs in the first innings while New Zealand declared innings at 659 runs with the loss of six wickets after which Pakistan would have to make 362 runs before giving the opponent a target for winning the match.
However New Zealand bowled out Pakistan for 186 claiming victory by an innings and 176 runs also a series win by 2-0.
