NAPIER: Batting first, New Zealand put 173 for 7 on board against Pakistan in the dead rubber in Napier on Tuesday.
Thanks to Devon Conway (63), wicket-keeper Tim Seifert (35) and Glenn Phillips (31), the hosts managed to score a fighting total.
Faheem Ashraf clean bowled Seifert, skipper Kane Williamson (1) and James Neesham (2). Haris Rauf routed opener Martin Guptil for 19 and Conway.
