New York Times lists Lahore among ’52 places to love in 2021′

The historic culture centre, Lahore has been listed among the ‘52 dream destinations’ for tourists to visit in 2021 by New York Times (NYT).

After an evaluation from 2,000 suggestions, a widely read American newspaper NYT mentioned Lahore in the category of ‘52 places to love in 2021’.

Haneen Iqbal, a free-lance writer based in Toronto, Canada suggested Lahore and remarked that ,“Especially in winter, this city nourishes you. It opens its arms to you, then feeds you and wraps you in a hug.”

Moreover, Pakistan, which has also been recommended by ‘Forbes’ and ‘Condé Nast Traveller’, has never failed to provide some amazing tourism sights.

The New York Times has posted the list on its website. The list has other countries such as Siwa Oasis of Egypt, The Llanos of Colombia, Kaliya Dhrow of India, Northern Mariana Islands of Saipan, Isfahan, Iran and others.

Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Overseas Pakistanis, Zulfi Bukhari shared the list of NYT, on twitter and stated, Lahore’s rich culture, warmth, hospitality & the most amazing food in the world awaits travellers. A must-have on everyone’s list!,
