A fresh wave of cold weather from the west has reached Karachi.
There are also northwesterly winds blowing in the town. Due to this new spell, Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted cold and dry weather in Karachi.
The minimum temperature recorded today in Karachi was 13.5 Degree Celsius, according to PMD’s website. The minimum temperature in the next two days may drop to 9 degrees Celsius. Besides this, the maximum temperature in Karachi will range from 24 degrees Celsius to 26 degrees Celsius till the next two days.
Today’s humidity recorded in the morning ranged from 65-75 per cent and may drop to over 20 per cent in the evening.
Besides this, PMD is forecasting cold weather in most parts of the country. PMD also expects rain and snowfall in Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan in the north-east.
Yesterday, rainfall took place in several parts like Punjab, upper Sindh, northern Balochistan, Ormara, Lasbella, Kalam, and D.I. Khan.
Skardu (-17), Para Chinar & Kalam (-11), Astore (-10), Hunza (-6), Malam Jabba (-5), and Gilgit (-4) are the minimum temperature reported in different areas (in Degrees Celsius).
Lasbella (6), Zhob Kalat (4), Barkhan Ormara (3), Khuzdar (2), Jhang (6), Lahore (5), Sargodha (3), Bhakkar, Okara, Toba Tek Singh, Faisalabad, Hafizabad (1), Kalam (4), D.I.Khan (2), Jacobabad (4), Dadu (2), and Larkana (1) are the highest rain recorded in different areas (in mm).
