New cold wave in Karachi from today, temperature is likely to drop to 8 degrees

KARACHI: The Meteorological Department, while forecasting a new cold wave in Karachi from today, said that the temperature in the wave could drop to 8-9 degrees. Severity of cold will increase in Karachi from today.
The Meteorological Department said that the cold wave which will start today is likely to continue for 7 days.
Director Sardar Sarfraz said that the weather will be dry during the day and cold at night but dusty winds will blow during the day and the temperature will go up to 27 degrees.
The Meteorological Department said that the wind will blow at a speed of 40 km per hour during the day while more strong winds will blow in the city from tomorrow.
The meteorological department has forecast light to heavy rain in most parts of the country including Quetta, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar in the next 24 hours. Rain and snowfall is also expected in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
