 New academic year of schools, colleges begins in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

PESHAWAR: The new academic year of schools and colleges has started from Monday (today) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to Elementary and Secondary Education Department, the school timings will remain unchanged from 7 to 10 in the morning.

Meanwhile, the Higher Education department has decided to extend summer vacations in universities and degree awarding institutes till July 31.

However, the ongoing and scheduled examinations will take place on the same dates.

Classes from primary to middle also resumed today after 12 days summer vacations. Examinations of 12th and 10th grades are continuing, while exams of 9th and 11th grades would begin on July 27.
