Netizens lash out at MNA who calls Breast Cancer Awareness caller tune ‘inappropriate’
The member of the National Assembly of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA), Syed Mehmood Shah called the Breast Cancer Awareness tune ‘inappropriate’.
According to media reports, the MNA of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA), Syed Mehmood Shah during a recent meeting of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Information Technology and Telecommunication raised an objection over the caller tune related to the Breast Cancer Awareness caller tune.
He stated, “one gets to hear a caller tune about women that has ‘inappropriate’ words in it. If spreading awareness regarding an issue is concerned, set caller tunes about it for only a day”.
The Standing Committee laughed in response to the MNA’s useless demand for the immediate suspension of the breast cancer awareness caller song.
Whereas on his insensitive remarks, Netizens react to his statement by schooling that “a man can also get breast cancer so it’s important to raise awareness”.
