Netflix will reportedly no longer allow users to share passwords for free from March 2023

The streaming giant Netflix confirmed that its move to no longer allow users to share passwords for free could begin by the end of March.
The streaming service announced that a crackdown on password sharing will start “later in quarter 1.” A specific date for the crackdown is not revealed, though.
The company said, “While our terms of use limit the use of Netflix to a household, we recognize this is a change for members who share their account more broadly”.
“So, we’ve worked hard to build additional new features that improve the Netflix experience, including the ability for members to review which devices are using their account and to transfer a profile to a new account”.
Netflix announced its plans to change its password-sharing policy in October and said it will eventually start charging users to share accounts, but it did not specify a start date for the new policy at the time.
