Netflix to charge users for password sharing in early 2023

The popular video streaming service will begin charging for password sharing in early 2023.
Popular video streaming company Netflix has been testing various measures for users who share account passwords for a long time.
Now the company is ready to crack down on people who share passwords and let friends or relatives use the service for free across the world.
The company announced during its quarterly report that in early 2023, people who share their login details with others will be charged an additional monthly fee.
The “extra member” feature will allow additional users to have their own sub-account for a fee. Although Netflix hasn’t yet provided the price, it is probably one-fourth of a current subscription.
According to Netflix, more than 100 million households worldwide use accounts that other people pay for.
