NCOC set its eyes on 70 million vaccinated citizens

The session of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) concluded on Saturday (today). Announcements regarding stats of Covid-19 vaccine jab made by the chief, Asad Umar. NCOC looks to vaccinate 70 million citizens by the end of the year.
As per the head of NCOC Asad Umar, around 40 million citizens have received the immunization vaccine to fight against Covid-19.
In a tweet made by Asad Umar, the administration is hopeful that they will reach the target of vaccinating the target of 70 million people by the end of the year. “We continue to make progress to vaccinate Pakistan. The year end target for 2021 was 7 crore people vaccinated. Happy to report that 7 crore people have now recieved atleast 1 dose and 4 crore are fully vaccinated. With 2 months to go, will inshallah meet, and exceed, the target,” said Asad Umar.

Punjab province administration is trying hard to cope up with the targets as Reach Every Door (RED) vaccination drive was started in the province to immunize the maximum number of citizens. RED is a door to door Covid-19 vaccine drive. As per the sources, it is said that Punjab province has setup their eyes on the target of 81 million vaccination jabs by the end of the year.
