The National Command and Operation centre (NCOC) has allowed the Hindu community to hold annual festival celebrations.
They have been informed to celebrate through following strict covid-19 SOPs.
The decision was taken in a meeting of NCOC in which Asad Umer, the Federal Minister for Planning, Development, Reforms and Special Initiatives allowed the community to hold their annual celebration.
The festival is called Dada Parbriham in Tharparkar, which will commence from June 21 and will last till June 24.
Head of Pakistan Hindu Council Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani took to twitter to announce the news and congratulate the Hindu community of Pakistan. NCOC had given permission in response to a request letter from Dr. Ramesh Kumar, a minority member of the National Assembly.
