NCOC further relaxes lockdown restrictions
ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has further relaxed coronavirus restrictions across the country.
The NCOC meeting chaired by its head and Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar decided that the business activities would be closed for one day instead of two days a week from now.
The forum also decided to open gyms, but all the gym members must get themselves vaccinated.
Moreover, the government has decided to run the countrywide COVID-19 vaccination in three parts. The process of vaccination would be compulsory for government and private employees. The NCOC has given until June 30 to all the employees to get themselves vaccinated.
Asad Umar said that the vaccination centers would remain open six days a week from June 11 till 10:00pm. He said those above 18 years old would be able to avail walk-in facility from June 11.
The NCOC has also decided to restore attendance of 100 percent staff from 50 percent, while the capacity of passengers in public transport has been increased from 50 to 70 percent.
