ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has stated on Wednesday (today) that the passport of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif would be cancelled on February 16.

Moreover, Sheikh Rasheed asked that why Nawaz Sharif took iqama, it seemed like he had no faith in his own country.

The home mister publicized the news during a press conference, held in Islamabad, and didn’t speak further about it.

The government has started making efforts to bring back the PML-N supremo to Pakistan from the United Kingdom to be trialled in court. He was declared a proclaimed offender by the Islamabad High Court after he did not show up despite he was issued summons by the court.
