Naval chief honoured with ‘Legion of Merit’ award in Turkey
KARACHI: Naval Chief Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi during his official visit to Turkey has been honored with the military award of Turkish Armed Forces, ‘The Legion of Merit’.
During a visit to Turkish Naval Forces Headquarters, the naval chief was also given a detailed briefing on the Turkish Navy.
Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan also held meetings with the Turkish Naval Chief, the Defense Minister and other high ranking officials and discussed cooperation in the maritime sector.
On the other hand, Cadet Muhammad Haris Mairaj of Pakistan Army has been declared overall best foreign national Military Cadet at the passing out parade held at Royal Military College, Duntroon, Australia.
The Inter Services Public Relations in a statement said, “This is a testament to the highest training standards of dedicated and committed junior leadership of Pakistan Army.”
