‘Nattu Kaka’ of Tarak Mehta ka Ulta Chashma passes away
Indian actor Ghansham Naik, who played the role of ‘Nattu Kaka’ in the popular Indian television comedy-drama serial ‘Tarak Mehta ka Ulta Chashma’, passed away on Sunday.
According to Indian media reports, the last rites of actor Ghansham Naik have been performed this morning in which many personalities associated with the drama serial actor Dilip Joshi (Jetha Lal), Bhavya Gandhi (Tapu), Samey Shah (Gogi) were also spotted.
Talking to Indian media, actor Tanmay Vekaria, who played the role of Baga in the comedy show, said “He was in a lot of pain since the last 2-3 months and I feel now he is in a better place. I would often speak to his son and he would tell me that he was in immense pain and had become cranky because of it. He was not able to gulp, eat or even drink water.”
According to Indian media reports, Ghansham Naik alias Nattu Kaka underwent surgery last year after being diagnosed with cancer.
Actor Ghansham Naik has acted in 100 Gujarati and Hindi films during his career and has also acted in 350 Hindi television serials.
On August 9, Indian veteran actor Anupam Shyam died to multiple organ failure, at Life Line Hospital.
Anupam Shyam is known for his work on the TV show Mann Ki Awaaz: Pratigya where he played Thakur Sajjan Singh.
He has also made appearances in films like Slumdog Millionaire, Bandit Queen Dil Se, Lagaan and Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi.
Anupam Shyam Ojha was an Indian film and television actor, who is known for playing villainous roles.
