Eid Milad-un-Nabi (S.A.W.W) is being celebrated across the country with religious enthusiasm and solemnity today.

The day dawned with a 31-gun salute in the federal capital and 21-gun salute in provincial capitals, followed by Mehafil-e-Naat, seerat conferences, and fireworks.

Special prayers are offered on this day in mosques for upholding and flourishing Islam and religious teachings, unity, solidarity, progress, and welfare of the Muslim Ummah.

Meanwhile, streets, bazaars, shopping centres, and government and private buildings have already been beautifully decorated and illuminated with lights, colours, and banners bearing writings about the celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him).

Earlier the Ministry of Interior has issued a notification on 26th October 2020, in this respect, which reads, “It is notified for general information that Friday 30th October 2020 shall be a public holiday on the occasion of Eid Milad un Nabi (12th Rabi ul Awal 1442 AH) throughout the country.”
