Najam Sethi likely to replace Ramiz Raja as Chairman PCB

Former chief Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and senior journalist Najam Sethi is likely to replace Ramiz Raja, who was appointed in Imran Khan’s tenure, as Chairman Pakistan’s cricket body, sources said.
Sources informed that former PCB chairman had a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has asked would-be PCB chief Najam Sethi to restore the Constitution of PCB 2014. The act’s restoration will reinstate the departmental sports in the country.
Notably, Former Prime Minister Imran Khan had stopped departmental sports, resulting in thousands of sportsmen across the country became unemployed.
Secretary Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) Division has sent the summary to appoint new PCB chairman to the Prime Minister House.
Earlier in October, the PML-N led federal government has officially reinstated ‘departmental sports’ in the country overturning Imran Khan’s decision to ban the sports.
