ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal on Monday said the anti-graft watchdog had recovered record 326 billion rupees from the corrupt people and deposited into the national exchequer.

Chairing the meeting of the NAB Executive Board, Javed Iqbal said taking the mega corruption cases to the logical conclusion was the foremost priority of the bureau.

“The NAB is adhering to the policy of accountability for all,” he said.

He said corruption was the root cause of all evils and a hurdle in development of the country.
