Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was shifted to Services Hospital, Lahore after his health deteriorated on Monday night.
Sharif’s physician, Dr Adnan Khan, said that Nawaz Sharif has a “critically low” platelet count and requested the authorities to immediately shift him to a hospital for treatment.
The National Accountability Bureau decided to shift Sharif for a medical check-up, it was doubted that Nawaz may have been suffering from dengue.
On Tuesday, NAB spokesperson said that Nawaz Sharif has been tested negative for dengue. His health is stable now and his platelet count had dropped due to the blood-thinning medicines that his personal doctor, Doctor Adnan, gave him.
