NAB authorizes investigation into different important matters

PESHAWAR: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has authorized investigation into different matters.
The Regional Board Meeting of the accountability watchdog chaired by Brig (retd) Director General NAB (KP) Farooq Naser Awan authorized the probes during the meeting in Peshawar.
The board authorized an investigation against employees of the agriculture department in DI Khan about embezzlement of Rs54.04 million of agriculture development dund.

The regional board authorized an investigation against the officers and officials of education department of Hangu regarding illegal appointment under the garb of land donation.
It also authorized inquiry against management of Kabul Housing Society Abbotabad regarding cheating public at large. The accused person lured general public to invest with them in their illegal housing colony thus fleecing them of their hard earned money, the meeting was apprised.
The DG NAB (KP) vowed that as per directions of Chairman NAB Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal, NAB KP was determined to do across the board accountability on the basis of solid evidence as per law.
