Speaking in the National Assembly session, Shahbaz Sharif said that today the parliament is going to defeat a selected Prime Minister in a constitutional and legal manner.
“If these people talk about conspiracy, it will go too far and we will expose them,” he said.
The Leader of the Opposition, while reading out the decision of the Supreme Court, asked the Speaker of the National Assembly to proceed with the no-confidence motion as per the court order.

The National Assembly session will reconvene at 10:30 am today after the Supreme Court declared the Deputy Speaker’s ruling unconstitutional
After receiving the written order of the Supreme Court, the Secretariat of the National Assembly withdrew the order to adjourn the sitting of the Deputy Speaker indefinitely and now the sitting of the National Assembly will resume at 10:30 am.
The agenda of the National Assembly includes a vote of no-confidence against Prime Minister on the resolution of opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif under Article 95.

The 6-point agenda includes questions break, two notices and one point of objection.
On the other hand, the united opposition has convened a meeting of the parliamentary party at 9 am, which will be chaired by Shahbaz Sharif, in which the opposition will decide its strategy.
High security arrangements have been made for the National Assembly session.
