“My first Betrayal that I got from a man was my father”: Mathira
TV host Mathira talked about the challenges she faced after the separation of her parents and how her father abandoned the whole family.
Recently, Pakistani-Zimbabwean model and now TV host Mathira appeared on a podcast and talked about the challenging times of her life.
While talking about her parents, Mathira said, “my father is from Zimbabwe whereas my mother is from Pakistan. But my parents got separated and my father went to London. I was 15 years old when I alongside my mother and sister moved to Pakistan because of the political turmoil in Zimbabwe”.
Mathira shared some heartbreaking memories of her teens when her father abandoned the family during tough times. She said, “my dad was a party lover but my mother is the total opposite. My first betrayal that I got from a man was from my father. He broke my heart. It’s very heavy on my heart that a person who was my protector abandoned me during hard times. I was very close to him”.
Mathira also opened up about being a single mother to three boys and her spiritual journey.
