“My children are beautiful humans, so are Khawajasirahs”: Nadia Jamil
Nadia Jamil says that she will always respect the choice of her children related to their gender.
Actress Nadia Jamil is quite active on social media when it comes to raising her voice on different social issues of society. Recently, she is raising her voice for the release of the internationally acclaimed film Joyland.
Jamil has been attacked online for a variety of reasons. Social media users didn’t only criticise her personal beliefs; they also talked about cancer making her stupid, commented about how she should raise her kids, and attacked her career, her faith, her degree, you name it.
She also expressed her full support for the transgender community. One of the social media users said that “I wish one of your five children becomes a Khusra and another falls in love with one”.
Nadia Jamil responds to a tweet with grace and emphasized her support for the Khawajasirah community. She wrote, “InshaAllah regardless of what choice my children make I will love them with all my heart. Whether I approve or not. My love is theirs. I am theirs”.
Nadia believes no one deserved to feel less. She concluded by saying, “My children are beautiful humans. So are Khawajasirahs”.
