Mawra explains her statement about depression after being trolled

Recently, the duo celebrity sisters, Mawra and Urwa have put themselves under hot water by giving an ill-informed statement on depression in Nida Yasir’s morning show. To put an end on the criticism, Mawra shared a Google screenshot to explain her statement.


The sisters said, depression solely exist because of the food people eat. Both Mawra and Urwa, received a lot of criticism on internet as the video went viral on social media

After both actresses were criticised heavily for their irresponsible statement, Mawra tried explaining her point again by posting a Google screenshot.

“If you eat lots of processed meat, fried food, refined cereals, candies, pastries, and high fats products, you are most likely to be anxious and depressed,” the post reads

The other post reads, “new research finds that your food choices may also affect your mood and mental health.”
