The district administration of Multan has removed three cattle markets on Friday.
Cattle Markets were only allowed to be established in the designated areas by the district administration.
However, an operation was carried out under the supervision of assistant commissioner city Kahawaja Umair and Chief Officer Metropolitan Corporation, Iqbal Khan at Mumtazabad, Doulat Gate and Chungi-9 areas.
According to the assistant Commissioner, Kahawaja Umair , the government has restricted to set up cattle markets in the city due to the rising spread of covid-19.
Moreover,Kahawaja Umair has requested the citizens to purchase sacrificial animals from temporary cattle markets set up by the district administration.
He further assured that all preventive measures are being followed at the makeshift cattle markets while livestock, health and other departments have also set up their camps in the markets.
