Muhammad Ali Sadpara, Pakistani mountaineer summits Mont Blanc
Pakistani mountaineer Muhammad Ali Sadpara made national history by becoming the first Pakistani mountain climber to summit Mont Blanc.
He achieved the milestone when he successfully climbed the 4,808 m peak along with French and Nepal mountaineers.
Previously Sadpara had climbed eight peaks, of which three were in Pakistan while the others were in Nepal.
He previously reached the peak of Mount Makalu. Mont Blanc is the highest mountain in the Graian Alps in Europe. It was first summitted in 1786 by Jacques Balmat and Michel Paccard.
