Muhammad Ali being remembered on his 15th death anniversary

The 15th death anniversary of famous film star Muhammad Ali is being observed on Friday.
He was born in Indian state Uttar Pradesh’s city Rampur on Apr 19, 1931. His father, Maulana Syed Murshid Ali, was an Islamic scholar.
Muhammad Ali was also known as Shehenshah e Jazbat (emperor of emotions). He performed in more than 250 movies and was counted among the 25 greatest actors of Asia by CNN survey.
He was conferred upon Pride of Performance award by the government of Pakistan in 1984. He was the first actor who was awarded Tamgha-e-Imtiaz.
Muhammad Ali joined Radio Pakistan Hyderabad station as a broadcaster in 1956. He married with film actress Zeba in 1966.
He died because of a cardiac arrest on this day in 2006 in Lahore.
