Karachi: Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, has demanded leave on the third day of Eid.
Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee says that Eid is of three days, therefore Imran Khan should also announce a holiday on Monday.
Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman along with eminent Sunni scholars and religious organizations held a press conference at Darul Uloom Amjadia Karachi. Replying to a question on the occasion, he said that Eid is celebrated for three days so Prime Minister Imran Khan should also announce a holiday on Monday.
Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated in Pakistan on August 1, while Monday will be the third day of Eid. The federal government has announced a three-day holiday from Friday, July 31 to August 2.
Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, criticized Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry in a press conference and said that there is no difference between science and scholars, we know science, we know as much science as you know. Meteorologists from the Meteorological Department are with us and scientists are with us, they are on our committee.
