Karachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan, women workers protested against police violence during a rally against local government law in Karachi.
Addressing the women’s demonstration on Clifton area, MQM leader Senator Faisal Sabzwari said that MQM Pakistan is a democratic party, peaceful protest is the right of every citizen.
Faisal Sabzwari further said that MQM Pakistan was protesting peacefully on the streets. Biased Sindh police tortured women and children. Sindh government has recruited corrupt officers.
He added that PPP has not been able to provide even 14 buses in 14 years. The Sindh government is bewildered by the mere demonstration of MQM. Bilawal Bhutto is the chairman of Human Rights Committee but his silence is questionable for every citizen of Karachi.
Faisal Sabzwari said that Bilawal’s silence shows that whatever the Sindh government did was done with Bilawal’s consent, a law contrary to the constitution cannot be enacted on the basis of fake majority.
