Muthaida Quami Movement-Pakistan has assured Prime Minister Imran Khan for its support in upcoming Senate polls for PTI. On Thursday a delegation of MQM met with the Premier and other representatives of the government at PM house to discuss future strategies of the alliance.
It was decided in the meeting that PTI, MQM-P and GDA (Grand Democratic Alliance) would jointly take part in the Senate elections.
According to the PM office: Federal Minister Asad Umar and Ali Haider Zaidi, Governor Sindh Imran Ismail and MPA Haleem Adil Sheikh were the representatives from the ruling party while MQM delegation included IT Minister Aminul Haque, MNA Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Haider Abbas Rizvi and MPA Kanwar Naveed Jamil.
In return for its support, MQM would have an advisory post in PTI-led Giligit-Baltistan Government as assured by PM Khan.
