Lahore: Shafqat, the main accused in the rape case, was produced in court. The accused was handed over to the police on a 6-day physical remand.
According to details, Shafqat, accused in the motorway case, was produced by the police in the Sessions Court due to the unavailability of ATC, where a six-day remand was sought from the court.
The public prosecutor told the court that Shafqat, the accused in the motorway case, has confessed to the crime and the other accused are yet to be arrested on his indication. Raids are still being carried out to arrest the main accused.
Be remanded After which the court accepted the request of the investigating officer for six days of physical remand and handed over Shafqat to the police. Anti-terrorism provisions have also been included in the case.
