The spokesperson of Ministry of Health Services (MNHS), Sajid Shah announced that more vaccines will be procured by the country within few weeks.

Moreover, the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine has been registered for emergency use which will come through the Covax an alliance that has pledged provision of free vaccine for 20pc of the population of different countries, including Pakistan.

The government had been trying its best possible to get vaccine at the earliest. However, Shah further added, “Once the front-line workers and people over the age of 65 are vaccinated, we will move to vaccinate those who are between 60 and 65 years of age”.
