 Monsoon rains to begin in last week of June

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted that first moon soon of this year will commence in the last week of this month.

According to PMD, monsoon is expected to occur between 27-30 June and Karachi is to receive heavier rainfall .

Upper half of Punjab, northern Balochistan and Kashmir is to witness moderate rainfall.

Rainfall during July to September monsoon weather duration is expected to be 140.8 mm.

PMD in another weather report has forecast partly cloudy weather with chances of drizzle in Karachi and adjoining areas today.

Maximum temperature in the metropolis will remain between 34-36 degree Celsius with upto 75 percent humidity level.
