Money laundering case: PM Shahbaz, Hamza summoned on May 14

A written order has been issued for yesterday’s hearing in the money laundering case against Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz, according to which the court has summoned Premier Shahbaz Sharif on May 14 for indictment.
The court has also summoned all the other accused on May 14 for indictment. The written order said that it was made clear that the accused would be indicted at the next hearing. All the accused should ensure their presence.
According to the written order, Shahbaz Sharif’s lawyer filed an apology for the absence of Shahbaz Sharif due to the cabinet meeting. The FIA did not oppose the apology.
The court asked Shahbaz Sharif’s lawyer how long the apology would last? The apex judge ordered that the forthcoming presence of Shahbaz Sharif be ensured.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s lawyer Amjad Pervez said that no indictment can be imposed in this case, a petition has to be filed in this regard.
The court remarked that at the next hearing, Shahbaz Sharif’s lawyers would give arguments or he would be indicted.
The court extended the bail of Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz till May 14.
