Mohammad Rizwan seals ICC Player of the month crown
Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan On Monday won the honor of being the International Cricket Council (ICC) player of the month for September 2022.
Rizwan came out on top as he beat India’s Axar Patel and Australian all-rounder Cameron Green, who were the other two nominees for the ICC player of the month award.
Last week, the ICC announced the Player of the Month nominations for the players who performed brilliantly in the month of September.
Pakistan’s star batter Mohammad Rizwan was named Player of the Month after scoring 553 runs in T20 Asia Cup and bilateral T20 series against England.
On the other hand, India’s Harmanpreet Kaur has been named the ICC Women’s Player of the Month.
Along with Rizwan, Australia’s Cameron Green was nominated for the first time for his excellent all-round performance in the ODI series against New Zealand and T20 against India.
Mohammad Rizwan is also the number one batsman in ICC T20I ranking.
