Mohammad Rizwan nominated for ICC player of the month award

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has nominated Pakistan’s star batter Mohammad Rizwan for the player of the month award after his tremendous form in the recently ended T20 Asia cup 2022.
Muhammad Rizwan; the right-handed star batter is at the top of men’s T20i batting rankings. He is also joined by Australia’s Cameron Green and Indian Axar Patel in the ICC player of the month nomination.
Rizwan is known for his belligerent batting. He scored a record-breaking 316 runs at the average of 63.20 in the recently concluded Pak-England T20i series. He also scored 4 half-centuries with a strike rate of 138.59.
Australian Cameron Green has become the Second-fastest Australian to score 52 off 21 balls while Indian player Axar Patel took eight wickets in the home series against Australia.
The opening pair of Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan has been phenomenal in the recent past. They both had a record-breaking opening partnership in the T20I against England. Rizwan is No.1 batter in ICC men T20i ranking. After dropping down from the top spot Babar is at the 2nd spot now. For years, Pakistan had struggled to have a stable opening pair. Babar Azam and Rizwan are now a strong opening duo.
