Mohammad Hafeez tests COVID negative from private lab, positive as per PCB report
LAHORE: Star all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez on Wednesday tested negative for coronavirus when he got himself checked from a private lab, one day after being tested COVID-19 positive according to the report of the test conducted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
“After I was tested positive for COVID-19 according to the PCB testing report, as a second opinion and for personal satisfaction I went to test it again along with my family and I along with my all family members have been tested negative Alhamdulillah. May Allah keep us all safe,” he wrote in a tweet.

Following the announcement on Jun 22 that three players had tested positive for Covid-19, the Pakistan Cricket Board had on Jun 23 confirmed that a further seven players and a player support personnel from a total of 35 have tested positive for Covid-19. Mohammad Hafeez was among those seven players.
Players who have tested positive so far are: Fakhar Zaman, Imran Khan, Kashif Bhatti, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf, Haider Ali and Wahab Riaz.
There seems to be something shady going on. Coronavirus kits cannot be trusted entirely.
