ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Friday that the Hindutva ideology of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has created a division in India.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi headed an advisory meeting with former foreign secretaries and affirmed that the fire that New Delhi had lit in occupied Kashmir on August 5 has now spread across India.
The session discussed Indian atrocities in the Valley held and the region’s critical situation of peace. The foreign minister learned of the letter he sent to the chairman of the United Nations Security Council on Kashmir issue to the dignitaries.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said it has been 144 days since the military clampdown by Indian forces in occupied Kashmir and people have been kept in the dark by ceasing all means of communication in the region.

He said the supporters of secular India are protesting against discriminatory Citizenship Amendment Act and Modi government is committing ceasefire violations across the Line of Control (LoC) to divert attention from the chaos.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the Pakistan Army and people are completely committed to protecting the motherland. He commented that Pakistan is revealing India’s tactics at every forum. The meeting decided to continue the consultative session in order to discuss relevant foreign affairs.
