Mob turns violent after police thrash worshippers at Friday congregation in Karachi

KARACHI: Mob tortured police officials on Friday after police thrashed worshippers for offering prayer at a Jummah congregation in Liaquatabad area of Karachi.

The mob also smashed windows of a police van into pieces. Police have arrested four people including prayer leader of Ghousia Masjid.

Sindh government has imposed lockdown across the province from 5:00PM in the evening to 8:00AM in the morning with three additional hours of lockdown on Friday from 12 to 3:00 PM.
