Minor Shepherd-boy punished to death by Feudal Lord
Muzaffargarh: The inhumane incident took place in Muzaffargarh district of Punjab province where a 14 years old boy was punished to death by a Feudal lord for grazing goats in his field.
According to report, a landlord in Mouza Jagmal area of Alipur Tehsil of Muzaffargarh district hanged a Hafiz-e-Qur’an shepherd boy for grazing goats in the fields.
Mohsin, a shepherd, was brutally tortured by landlord Fayyaz Ghazlani, which resulted in the death of a child. In order to avoid legal action, Mohsin’s body was hung from a tree with the help of a rope and an attempt was made to give the impression of suicide.
The family members protested against the tragic incident. They said that Mohsin was Hafiz-e-Qur’an and was in a state of fasting.
Family members and residents of the area handed over the landlord to the police after apprehending the accused. After several hours calling the police helpline 15, the police rushed to the hospital for action.
Meanwhile, Alipur police have contacted the concerned hospital to get the post-mortem report of the deceased shepherd. Further action will be taken against the accused in the light of the post-mortem report.
