Miftah asked American envoy for relief, claims Imran Khan

While addressing the protest against rising inflation PTI Chairman Imran Khan said that, Pakistani Finance Minister Miftah Ismail asked the American envoy stationed in Islamabad for “relief”.
Former Prime Minister and Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that he has explained to the neutrals that a conspiracy is being hatched and if the government is toppled, it will not be taken care of by those who come.
At the call of Imran Khan, PTI workers in different cities of the country staged protests against rising inflation by Shahbaz-led government.
Imran Khan addressed the anti-inflation protesters through video link.
The former prime minister said that today our economy is in danger, Moody’s has downgraded Pakistan and I am afraid that the country will reach where Sri Lanka has reached.
“We have been blackmailed for passing the FATF law. I hope Pakistan will get out of the gray list,” he said.
“When the no-confidence motion was brought, dollar was at Rs178, today it is at Rs208 and we had to get oil from Russia and not let the burden fall on the people,” he said.
Imran said that Miftah Ismail asked the American ambassador to give relief, saying that,”Miftah Ismail asked American envoy to get relief. Nothing is free, everything has a price. The US will take our real freedom as a price,” warned Imran Khan.
